Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. She was able to survive on a student salary and part-time work to supplement her budget. Lennox was not happy with the quality of her performance compared with other students at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the vocalist in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. It was here that she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo first album Diva. It came out in 1993. It was a massive hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album that was released in October 2014 included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on May 19, 2019. It is a collection comprised of four songs composed by Lennox. The E.P. She released her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is a Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists gained some minor acknowledgement for their and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s.
